A guide to finding yourself | #1

Hello, pals, it's me again and it was a long time since I posted something due to me being absolutely lazy. But to make this blog work I have to be active I guess. So, today I'd like to help out all of you to evolve yourself. Also, before we start I'd like to introduce myself. You gotta know who is that pathetic teenager writing this posts. Here's some little information about me.

My name's Milos Nikolic (Милош Николић), believe it or not, I'm 15 years old and I started my high school life this year. I'm really ambitious and I want to improve people around me and the world. Before doing that I need to get my own head clear. I use to think 24/7 and I care way too much about things. I'm an excellent student and never had a girlfriend before (neither a boyfriend). My real story is that I often put others' happiness in front of my own and as often get disappointed. You'll found out more about me through my posts (also I'd love to meet new people, be free to message me with any thread to talk about). Here's a picture of me to finish the introduction :)

Let's talk about the actual thread. Finding yourself and tuning your personality. First of all - You won't change yourself, because nothing is as beautiful as being yourself, got it? Be aware that we are not all the same. We are different in physical and psychical ways, and that's what makes the world beautiful. You don't have to be the best looking, smartest and coolest person in school or your friend circle. Walking your own path will lead you to where you belong. People will come and go, but only the ones who stay are those who matter. Is a leaf's only purpose to fall? Probably not. Well, you exist for a reason.

Since we mostly talk about high school, let's talk about how we feel around people. It often tends to be an explosion of hormones and people either laugh because our life is a mess or because we are funny. We all find some person we are bound to but when other people are around we start to talk brainless things which make us look like the last idiot. So, no matter if it's your crush, older kids from your school or simply your circle of friends, here's a short guide that should make you look coolheaded in front of anyone.

-Short sentences <-> Simple things

Every cool thing people say is short and cool. Even the most awesome thread can become an atmosphere killer if you complicate it too much. Talk in short sentences, not more than 10 words. You'll look smart because you know what you're saying

-Voice, expressions and body language

Using your hands while talking automatically make you look educated and people will focus on you.

Even more important is the way you raise and lower your voice while talking. YOU WANT TO SHOUT AT EXCITING THINGS and rather whisper at secrets and scary things, for the atmosphere.

-Improvisation and continuous talking

Don't. Repeat. Yourself. Keep talking continuous, and if you got confused by yourself, keep talking about anything that is cool. Improvisation is key. As long as you look secure and words come out of you easily, you are doing it right.

-Silence says more than words

Probably the most important part. You don't have to be in the spotlight alway, simply keep up your smile and listen. Not saying anything is always better than saying something wrong. 

Say much with little words, don't complicate things, be silent when it's the right thing to do.

Maybe I should've mentioned this part before the talking part. Before you talk to people you get known to them. It's important to have a good relation with as many people as possible, but only be close to the one who complete you. Of course, there will be always someone who will dislike you and those people, we cool kids see as challenge. We don't down neither stomp anyone to achieve our goals or to seem cool in friend circles. Be gentle and friendly. You'll eventually take jokes on your bill and people will laugh at / with you. Important is not to headless fight back. Be sarcastic, Laugh with them or say something funny about the person, do not look offended.

Before finishing this kind of short first part, I will have to come back to sarcasm. Remember, sarcasm is a language the coolest people talk. The smart will understand you and look up to you while the ones with no sense for it will just look stupid. You will be able to insult idiots (who you should avoid anyway) without them getting it.

Love hits like a train

Good afternoon my dearest viewers. It's a cloudy Sunday and my week was full of emotions and filled with all kind of happenings. A wonderful moment to share it with you, isn't it? Whatsoever, today we are talking about love. According to a dictionary love, has 29 possible meanings (as one wasn't enough) but I will point out that one that seems known to us teens.

in love, infused with or feeling deep affection or passion

We all get attached to someone, but is that really love? Let's split love in some types:

• Love towards family
• Love towards friends
• The "I want to marry you type of love"

As you guessed already, we'll talk about the third mentioned type, as it's the one that..sucks the most.

It's love, but it's also not. It has a lot of cons, it's pretty painful since being denied can cause psychical pain that can ruin certain people forever. Of course, it has its bright sides. We forget about school, studying, friends, family, leaving the house, how to breathe, walk and some stuff. Guess what? That is not a positive side of this kind of love. The reason for this is that it's unrealized love in the most of cases. It goes like this. We find some person that we daydream about. That person kisses our lips all the times, holds our hand and hugs us, all that until we wake up. Then we realise that we are hopelessly lost, go into ourselves, looking for an answer on the question - Does s/he feel the same way? Answer ourselves with N-O and take the next best person as 'crush'. That's the endless circle of teenage love.

Does it always have to be like that? Probably no, but I didn't really have a girlfriend before and watching couples makes me sick. Sure, I respect all of you guys and girls around there with successful relationships, and it would be a shame if I ruined the way you feel about this. Would it? We'll have time to talk about relationships. Yeah, every good movie includes a kiss, and butterflies can't be considered as a bad feeling only. But can't the hard part be a little less painful? If I could refund all the time I wasted on that girl. From buying flowers all over to poetry. Here I'll bring in my masterpiece. A little love song for the soul.

High school - what defines your future

Greetings!

Before I go to the actual thread of this blog, I want to say that this is obviously my first one, and I hope you won't get mad at me if it's not good enough in any way. Although I'm just a 15 years old teenager, I hope my thoughts, opinions and way of writing will be good enough.

Enjoy.

The real teenager life doubtless starts together with high school. It's that time of the life where your ambitions get bigger, your head gets heavier and emotions uncontrollable. That time where you fall in love with all those boys and start being a rebel. You know everything better, you live the life you want and advices are not welcome at all.

I'll now stop talking about the usual already known teenager life mentioned above and split the high school life in 3 parts:

• Friends
• Love
• School

Friends - It's always questionable who you can trust, and recognizing fake friends is something that you learn after being hurt. Well, maybe you are that type of teenager that has a so-called "squad", that type of friends is usual for those who are careless and pass by all the problems life brings. That's awesome, as long it's true friendship. Then, there is that kind of teens who have that one friend they are dedicated to, that  includes full trust in that person and that person simply being someone you fully enjoy. All that is more-less fine, but there's that kind teen that has no trust in people at all, is insecure about other people, or simply lonely. Can we consider those kids as anti-social? No. That kids that are seen as anti-social are the one who talk little, but have the loudest minds. They are those who know exactly how corrupted the world is, and simply avoid negative experiences, at the cost of having less good moments. They aren't really sad, they simply have no interest in talking to idiots that appreciate wrong ideals. In the end, it's all about trust, and understanding. There's so much more we could talk about, and we  will for sure, but when the thread is friendship alone.

Love - Of course we could say that there are different kinds of love, but the one that interests us is that kind of love that includes relationships, boyfriends, girlfriends and so on...ugh. Alright, what's important to know is that almost every teen will have butterflies because of those uncontrollable emotions. We all know when the guy / girl that walked by us is just so adorable, but why won't that person like me back !? We're the perfect couple! If you never experienced this kind of problem because you are some badass that can get any girl, leave, please. On the other side, If you know this too well, read carefully. You will reject and be rejected your whole life. Don't, I repeat, don't think that anyone will love you back because you would die for them, just don't. Except the disappointment you will have to face,  it will lower your self-confidence, and self-confidence is what keeps you alive in the real world. As mentioned in the friends thread, we will talk about this more, about things like best-friend love, love to the same gender and more, but simply in a post dedicated to LOVE only. But until remember this seven-word, one comma and 3 full-stop story:

DO NOT LOVE, IT HURTS...AS FUCK

School - Talking about school, it's a stressful experience, and if itself is not enough of a poison, just remember that it gets even harder with love and friends. Knowing that you have to spend your expensive time on studying, instead of reading is useless stuff on the internet and chatting your false friends, really annoying to deal with. Let me tell you something. Go. Fucking. Study. Simple as that. The chance that you are Bill Gates and that you will get rich just by waking up every morning with a bored face is pretty little. Study! Not for your grades, for satisfying your parents, man, not even for the job and money. Do it for yourself. Knowledge is power, and knowledge is something no one is able to take you away. Here's the key for successful studying. I'm aware that many of you waste free time by simply scrolling down Facebook. The next day you go to school, get a bad grade, and regret the decision. Not because only you did not study, but you also wasted that time on nothing. Guess what, time can't be refunded, use it wisely. Not only it's wasted time, but you could've opened the book, spend 1-2 hours simply reading it, eventually realize it's not boring. The next day you would go to school, get a decent grade because God damn, you are smart enough to learn that stuff. Don't stay at home all day and study, all you have to know about this is - USE TIME WISELY.

I won't go further than this, besides the fact that It's my first post, it's also very late, and there is that one blonde girl I have to satisfy tomorrow, in hope that she will love me back. I'm sure you can relate. I wish everyone sweet dreams.
